



BIOGRAPHY
Maria Sollon MS, CSCS is an inspiring and enthusiastic fitness professional and performance coach. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention as well as a BS in Kinesiology from Penn State University.
She is certified with NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, ACE, AFAA and is a continuing education provider for both ACE and AFAA. She is a Master Trainer for Resist-A-Ball, Body Blade, Peak Pilates MVe, EFI Sports Medicine with the Gravity Training System, BOSU, and Gliding. Maria travels around the country presenting these workshops and has presented at CanFit Pro, ECA, & WSSC Fitness Conferences, Fit in the City, Kettle Bell Conference, and has assisted at World IDEA as well as DCAC. She holds other fitness certifications such as Pole Star Pilates, Powerhouse Pilates mat and reformer, Sanctuary 7 Pilates Training, Peak Pilates MVe, Yogafit, Spinning, Kettlebell Training, Healthy-Moms, and BOSU Integrated Balance Training.
Maria has achieved a black belt in martial arts and enjoys developing functional sport specific programs for inspiring athletes and teams. She has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Collegiate athletics such as the California University of Pennsylvania ’s hockey and basketball teams as well as conducted many dry-land workouts for professional ice hockey teams in the East Coast Hockey League (AA hockey league of the NHL). Maria was the Strength Coach of Duquesne University 's Hockey Team for pre-season conditioning and helped lead them into a successful regular and post season that ended with a conference championship.
Maria applies her extensive background in group fitness, Pilates training, personal training, and performance coaching in various locations in South Florida such as Equinox, and the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne.
Maria continues to evolve her fitness knowledge with the most current research and latest fitness trends to stay at the top of the industry 's standards.
